About Us

The primary sponsor for the LPQue 2 is Gold Medal BBQ (GMBBQ) located in Des Moines, Iowa. GMBBQ is a newly formed marketing and sales company that has access to quality commercial and residential BBQ equipment and products.

The GMBBQ website is currently under construction. It is anticipated that it will be up and running soon. But for now it is important to point out that GMBBQ can provide both gas and pellet equipment as a result of its dealer relationship with both Ole Hickory Pits (Cape Giradeau, Missouri) and Cookshack (Ponca City, Oklahoma).

GMBBQ has on hand an inventory of Cookshack FEC 100's and Ole Hickory CTO's. This will allow the cookers to be purchased and practiced on for the event. Or GMBBQ is willing to deliver a purchased cooker to the contest on behalf of the customer.
