2007 LPQue BBQ Championship Results

 

A note from the sponsor. . .

I want to personally thank everyone who was involved in the 2007 LPQue BBQ Championship.  I believe that this years event lived up to its historic billing.  And I am personally committed to making the 2008 LPQue BBQ Championship even better. 

I especially want to thank Arlie  and Joyce Bragg for all their efforts in my behalf.  I also want to thank The KCBS for allowing us to gain sanctioning for this event and for providing such super representatives. 

Thank you Mt. Pleasant, Iowa for being such gracious hosts for this event.  I hope that many of the people that were involved in this event come back to Mt. Pleasant for another visit.  Especially during the Old Threshers Reunion.   

My interest in the LPQue event has been transferred to Arlie Bragg. My time, energy and financial resources now need to be fully committed to Sugar Grove Custom Cars, LLC. As you can see at www.sugargrovecars.com, my automotive plate is filling up fast. Especially when you add a multi-car, national racing schedule for 2008.

Turkey prize money was $1,000 for 1st Place, $500 for 2nd Place and $250 for 3rd Place.  The Turkey category does not count for Grand Champion.
