Mike is an experienced KCBS Certified Judge (CBJ) and lives in Woodward, Iowa. Thanks to Scott Olson, Olson Autobody in Waukee, for producing the Gassies that serve as the category awards for this year.         Ugly Barrel Smoker Fire Truck Smoker (Dragon Slayers) Randy Heimgartner, HalfSauced BBQ (Lake Ozark, MO) won the Ugly Barrel Smoker built by Snail. Barry Reynolds, Dragon Slayers, brought his custom built Fire Truck Smoker to the contest. Barry is the local cook at the contest. Former Fire Chief, he built this cooker using parts that would be normally found on normal Fire Trucks. Very cool!!             Highest Scoring Meat Entry (Bubba-Q's) Perfect Scoring Fruit Entry (Bubba-Q's) Bubba-Q's gracious enough to share this picture of the no garnish ribs that they turned in. Highest scoring meat entry at the contest with an almost perfect 179.4286. Picture of what Bubba-Q's turned in for the Fruit Category. 7 of these on a nice tray. Sabrina describes it as a layered, peach/mango frozen yogurt dessert. Layered with whip cream, short bread cookies and a peach/mango reduction. Very tasty and earned Sabrina and Bubba a perfect score. Congratulations!!
